Laura Berger always dreamed of becoming an artist and it is no surprise she’s made it as an accomplished painter and illustrator. Her recent solo shows at Hashimoto Contemporary in San Francisco and Amsterdam’s Andenken Gallery are proof of her success. Laura’s instantly recognizable colour palette and distinctive yet anonymous characters come together in striking scenes that immediately draw the viewer’s attention. Laura’s second Arrels Barcelona collaboration features sun slices against a blue background. This design will evoke the best of memories: a beautiful tranquil dawn next to a loved one, an island sunset while listening to mesmerizing music, an invigorating mid-afternoon swim in the ocean.
